Looks like a kitty box, doesn't it? I cut out an entrance space and filled with box with wood shavings--which the chickens kick out--to make a nest box in the coop. There were two boxes but they all want to use the same one.
We have lots of chickens and lots of nest boxes, but I have had three chickens all jammed into a one foot square nest box at the same time. Silly things:)
