Sheila Tay brought her portable grooming salon to the house and gave Alanis an excellent 'airecut.

What does a dog do, first thing off the grooming table? Drink water and get her beautifully brushed fuzzy face all wet.

She's a tiny girl at 43 lbs and hasn't figured out passive resistance (which didn't work for Miro, anyway). I haven't clipped her yet, just raked out lots of undercoat while she looked at me reproachfully.

I have missed keeping up with other dog news, not to mention missed keeping up here. Last week Miro had his first ear-gluing and stripping. Less and less puppy coat remains. No more punk hairstyle! It's always sad to see that go. Here are before and after pics.
