Preparing for puppy pick-up

I dropped Alanis off today at the boarding kennel and watched her being led away, tail tucked, head down as if she were on her way to an unpleasant procedure at the vet's (or maybe a bath). Talk about guilt.

Next week at this time I should be introducing the puppy. Talk to you then!

  1. Awwwwwwwwwww, poor Alanis! Wait till she comes home and finds a baby brother waiting for her!
    We can't wait!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  2. Awww poor Alanis :(
    Big licks to you

  3. Ciao belle amice!

Oh, Alanis! I make my tail all droopy when I am fretting, too. But your mama will be back PDQ, sweet girl, and with a new little brother for you to play with! (Is he an ... Airedale??)

I can't wait to see your famiglia fotografie!!

    Tanti baci!

  4. Poor sad little girl. They are very good at getting their feelings hurt. But Miss Alanis will be tickled to have a 4-legged playmate when you come home and pick her up. Can't wait to see the pics and adventures of your new family member!
    Karen and the Bentman.

  5. GREAT, tell us his name, soon.
Post the pics and Alanis you will be sooooo happy with a 4-legged one.

  6. Alanis will be sooooo excited to have a land shark to play with! And you, Sherry, get to have that wonderful puppy breath! We can't wait to see pictures!

  7. Poor Alanis, but she will be so happy when you collect and introduce her to her new playmate.

    Molly and Taffy xx

  8. We hope Alanis is happy to have a new pup to play with. It took BabyRD a while to get used to me, but I followed her around (well) like a puppy. I adored her from the start and mimicked her every move! She still isn't very good at sharing, but usually gives me her leftovers. I don't mind.
