Preparing for puppy pick-up

I dropped Alanis off today at the boarding kennel and watched her being led away, tail tucked, head down as if she were on her way to an unpleasant procedure at the vet's (or maybe a bath). Talk about guilt.

Next week at this time I should be introducing the puppy. Talk to you then!

Oh, Alanis! I make my tail all droopy when I am fretting, too. But your mama will be back PDQ, sweet girl, and with a new little brother for you to play with! (Is he an ... Airedale??)

    Tanti baci!

  4. Poor sad little girl. They are very good at getting their feelings hurt. But Miss Alanis will be tickled to have a 4-legged playmate when you come home and pick her up. Can't wait to see the pics and adventures of your new family member!

  8. We hope Alanis is happy to have a new pup to play with. It took BabyRD a while to get used to me, but I followed her around (well) like a puppy. I adored her from the start and mimicked her every move! She still isn't very good at sharing, but usually gives me her leftovers. I don't mind.
