A gift from Sunshade and Jaffa

Miss Sunshade and Jaffa (a.k.a. Stinky) from Vancouver, BC were in town last week with their humans. We tried to get the dogs together for an Airedale playdate but the timing didn't work out, not to mention the dreary weather all Labor Day weekend. Sunshade, however, was kind enough to send this:
I've seen "Baby on board" signs like this in cars but not an Airedale one. I have it on a house window. If I put the sign in the car, somebody (and we won't name names) might chew it up. You know how those things happen--the dog's sitting around, waiting for you, and something just happens to be near the teeth, which do some idle nibbling and, whoops, where'd that thing go?

Many thanks to Sunshade and her crew! We're thrilled and honored to receive a gift from a blog-buddy.

  1. We got the same gift from them a few years ago! Ours is proudly displayed in the MaggieMobile rear window!
What a shame that timing didn't work out and you weren't able to meet them. Bummer!

    Love ya lots

  2. Hello!
Thank you for testing out my blog to tell me that my computer is working much faster today. I figured out why the comments were getting eaten and/or reloading a zillion times too and it was b/c of www.photosnack.net which I removed. Photosnack is on Facebook too so if you are on FB I suggest you "de-friend" them!
I love Airedales but the odd thing is that we've never had an Airedale client...can you believe it? So (hint-hint) I'd be happy to travel to pet sit for your pup anyday!

  4. We will definitely meet up next time!! We are so sorry mum was sick, maybe she should start eating raw meat and stuff like we do so she won't get sick!

Haha you know, here in Vancouver, after you pass your first driving test, you have to put an "N" sign on the car to let others know that you're a New driver. It's the law. So mum had her N sign on, and well, it was dangling pretty badly on one of those sucker cup thingies. So I thought it was too distracting and chewed the bottom up, and when it didn't stop dangling, I took it down (and chewed it up), and then mum got stopped by a policeman and she got a ticket (for not displaying the N sign)!!!

    Love nibbles,
    Miss Sunshade

  5. That's not fair at all. Everyone should know that humans cannot be held responsible for the Airedale's overpowering need to redecorate.
