Aren't we jumping the shamrock a bit?

Alanis speaks out

It started when an investigation into a particularly interesting corner turned my face green.
It was just a bit of green but it gave Her ideas. She decided it was my turn for a photo shoot.
She said it was just a rehearsal to find out if I'd sit still. Well, I'm twelve-and-a-half years old and I sit still most of the day, except when the camera comes out.
What do you think you are doing?

Anyone with a lick of sense (and I am not giving that lick because she doesn't deserve it) can see this is a bow-tie that belongs around the neck of the male of the human species, not on a venerable dame's head
Will I ever be able to show my face again in this town?

  1. Those hoomins with their cameras ... will they ever learn?

  2. Well, I think you look lovely with the bow tie on your head..why should the human wear it when you can do such a good job :)

  3. You look very beautiful with a shamrock green box on your pretty head, Alanis!

    Love ya lots,
    Mitch and Molly

  4. Oh no poor baby, but lovely bow
    Benny & Lily

  5. Oh my...the poor thing looks totally depressed about it, she says green has never been her color! xo

I have a cookbook giveaway going on if you want to stop over for a chance to win!

  6. You look adorable!
    Kisses and hugs

  7. Hehehe, well you might be a little upset, but you sure look gorgeous with that bow on!! :-D And who knows, you might get a shamrock shake if you wear that at a certain restaurant! ;-)

  8. We happen to think you look beautiful in your bow. :)

  9. Oh my Alanis...that's just not fair. You'll have to give it a big Airedale powerful jaws CHOMP!

  10. Oh Noes. Alanis, I have much experince with these things...Ma is CONSTANTLY puttin' thingys on my head. She lures me with tasty treaties, which I just can't resist ~ resulting in said embarrassing photos. I say we take a stand!!! Shake that bow off your heads..NOW!! (you did gets your treats, right?)
